Curio's Shawn Quinn will share bovine NGS analysis results from a major beef breeder. The NGS data were generated using a custom target capture bovine panel from Twist Bioscience to capture unique markers and amplify certain other markers to confidently identify variants for a specific set of markers.

Improving the Cost Effectiveness and Speed of Low-Pass Whole Genome Sequencing (LP-WGS) and Imputation for Agrigenomics
Steven Hoffman of Ultima Genomics presented collaborative work between Ultima, Curio, and another Curio business partner, Revvity. In this project, our CURIO™ agrigenomics software platform was used to analyze rice data generated on Ultima's UG 100® with libraries generated with Revvity's NEXTFLEX HT Agrigenomics Low‑Pass WGS Kit to demonstrate a streamlined, cost-efficient workflow for imputation of low-pass sequencing data.

Our collaborators at AgriPlex Genomics shared work conducted with TMG (Tropical Mehloramento & Genetica), Curio Genomics and Agriplex to demonstrate the benefits of using low-pass whole genome sequencing and imputation for marker-trait association studies. The AgriPlex Plex-Seq-LPSTM was used alongside the CURIOTM platform to conduct the study.
